SNAG conference 15/06/2011
The John Beddoes School Nutrition action group went to a SNAG conference held by Powys County Council. Once we got there the first speaker was a Dr from Public Health which talked about health and obesityin the youth of today. Then we heard from a person which works for the welsh assembly who talked to us about how appetite for life in wales and how it is going. It then followed on by Powys Catering who talked to us about how it was going in Powys. After this schools in Powys gave updates to how they were getting on. Then we had a brake for lunch. After lunch we split into groups to talk about the problems which we face and some solutions which we came up with. Add Comment Meeting 23/05/2011

The School Nutrition action group will be having a meeting with powys county council on the 7TH April. Meeting update 21/03/2011
There will be a meeting on 22nd march. During this meeting we will set up our notice board and we we also discuss the draft whole school food policy. Meeting Update 10/03/2011
The next meeting will be on Tuesday 15th March. In the meeting on Tueday 8th March we disscused the rule about taking drinks out the hall, Notice Board, Theo wraps, Vending Machines, healthy scools, Pre- ordering. Meeting Update 01/03/2011
The meeting on Tuesday 1st march was cancelled due to problems. The new meeting will now be Tuesday 8th March. Hello!! 24/02/2011
